The basics of a pet play movie date
You will need a movie you want to watch and some privacy.
Get comfy!
I personally like to build a nest of fluffy blankets and wear as little clothing as temperatures allow
Put on your movie
Pets snuggle into your humans
Humans pat your pets
Enjoy the vibes and “try” not to get distracted

- Add in some more restrictions for your pet
- Dress to impress – ears tails the whole (comfy) sha-bang

These are 3 of my favorite BDSM movies that include (at least a little bit) of pet play!
Available on Netflix, super cute movie and probably my favorite of all three. Follows two co-workers in their new and evolving D/s dynamic and romance! Their first proper scene is a pet play scene which just destroys me every time!
Also available on netflix! Follows a lawyer and his secretary in a D/s dynamic. Sadly only hints at a little pet play during a montage of their kinky exploits but very fun to watch regardless!
The pet is a french movie (English dubbed is an option!) where a woman agrees to become the human pet of a fabulously wealthy and man. Their dynamic is non sexual and is beautiful to watch. If you can ignore the weird human trafficking sub plot that comes in later on in the movie.
I do not know of any streaming sites that have this movie (as of yet!)

Take any of your usual movie snacks – like popcorn!
And pop some of them in a pet bowl for your pet to munch on.
Or you can have your pet beg for treats and eat from your hand.
I personally try to have some home made pet treats made in advance for these kinds of nights
or if I don’t have the energy I will get appropriately themed ones from the supermarket

Add in some more restrictions for your pet
You can also put some extra restrictions in place for your pet to add the the headspace
For example;
Speech restrictions such as you pet may only meow, bark, whine, purr etc. until the movie is finished (excluding safewords)
Movement restrictions such as you pet is only allowed to crawl during the movie
Maybe the rule is no pets on the furniture, or pets must beg to join you on the bed/couch etc
Or pets may only eat out of a human’s hand or from a pet bowl

One of the easiest ways to dial up your pet movie date is to add in your pet gear.
Ears and tails are one of my biggest triggers into a pet mode and adding them into a movie date increases the depth of my headspace almost immediately
Not to mention my partner absolutely loves to have a cat girl on their bed
If you want to have a spicier pet play and chill night comfy lingerie is also a fun addition
But fair warning you will miss most of the movie.
